First Alert! Snow looking increasingly likely Sunday night Snow possible Sunday night By Jeff Castle | January 7, 2021 at 3:20 PM CST - Updated January 7 at 5:57 PM Our first snowfall of the season for much of the ArkLaTex is looking increasingly likely by the end of the weekend. A developing storm system along the coast will spread Gulf moisture northward into the ArkLaTex during the day Sunday. At the same time an upper level storm system will bring colder air into the area by Sunday evening and Sunday night. Our next weather maker may bring snow to the ArkLaTex (Source: KSLA) Precipitation is likely to start Sunday afternoon as rain. As the atmosphere gets colder Sunday evening rain will begin to mix with and change over to snow. By Monday morning we’ll be cold enough to support all snow across most of the area.
